When Are You Going to Read Download Skype Again
You need to be on the computer that yous originally had the conversation on as only the concluding 30 days is saved in the cloud.

I am using the computer the original conversation was on. I can painstakingly scroll back through the conversations but it has taken more than 2 hours to scroll back but 3 months. How can I quickly go back to the beginning surely there must be an easier way than scrolling dorsum through them.

Thank you for the reply all the same this version of skype does not accept any pick to export. If information technology does it is well subconscious and some instructions to do this in this Skype version would be nice. The link you provided I believe is for Skype classic version.

I'd suggest downloading archetype Skype and use it to encounter if that corrects your trouble.
1 ) Go to https://www.skype.com/en/get-skype/
2) Click the drib-downwards pointer in the bluish download button
3) Select Go classic Skype
4) Run the downloaded program

Hi I have installed classic Skype merely it does not testify the old conversations. But apparently these asre stored somewhere as I can painstakingly coil dorsum through these.
Can someone tell me where these might be stored in this version of Skype

Skype/Microsoft does not provide a dedicated consign/download message history utility for the new Skype clients (8.x/12.x). The electric current versions of the Skype 12.10 App store messages locally in a skype.db file. If the older messages are currently present in that file, they can be viewed/searched/extracted with a SQLite Database Viewer (from the Letters table, timestamps are in Unix fourth dimension format). If the older messages are not present in that file (deleted or alternate calculator), they can merely be downloaded using the newer Skype clients by manually scrolling up through the history. Scrolling up through the history will initiate incremental downloads from the Skype/Microsoft cloud for a period non to exceed the upward to ii years of storage. This process will incrementally populate data into the skype.db file. As far as I can tell, this option is not available in the classic Skype client (7.x).

Every time I try to become back by manually scrolling backwards and/or searching a known old conversation, Skype crashes. I have tried well over fifty times (unsuccessfully) to go my history. Even half-dozen months crashes my Skype.
